Juniors and Seniors in High School are encouraged to take a fuller part in the life of the Parish by participating in our Youth Ministry activities. After receving the sacrament of Confirmation, students are invited to become peer ministers. Under the guidance of our Youth Minister, peer ministers meet to plan social and service projects. Peer ministers also attend confirmation classes to join in small group discussions, to encourage their peers into more fully engaging in the life of the parish. Listed below are some of the activities the youth of our parish have been involved in:

Assumption's Youth Ministry Team participated again in our annual Habitat for Humanity trip to West Virginia! As a group, the 68 high school students and adults built a house for a mother and her 17 year old son. When we arrived day 1, there was a concrete slab in front of us; by day 5, there was a home for a family. It was such a humbling experience to work with this group from Assumption, and the habitat workers and partner families to achieve this amazing goal! THANK YOU to all of those who contributed to our AD Journal fundraiser, attended our Spring Fling, or contributed in another way to this trip. We could not have done this without you all, and of course, without the overwhelming support of Fr. John and Fr. Przemek!
