Welcome, new & returning families, to our second year of secure online registration for Religious Education sessions at Assumption. We are delighted that this system has allowed us to go paperless & to communicate in a more effective & efficient manner with the families that we serve.

For families that are new, you must first be registered with the parish. Please register using the online Parish Registration form. Then, return to this page & choose the appropriate link below. Your options are:

1st-8th Grade Registration offers a traditional classroom setting for faith formation. First through 5th graders meet on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Sixth through 8th graders meet on Sunday evenings immediately following the 5:30 p.m. Youth Mass until 8 p.m. There is an after school option for grades 3 through 8. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori approach to faith formation. Register here for new PreK & Kindergarten participants as well as children returning to CGS through third grade. Level II, Year 3 is new for 2008-2009. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings & Wednesday afternoons. Contact Tara Speer, Coordinator of CGS, for additional information at taraspeer@yahoo.com.

Confirmation Registration is for Year 1 (9th grade) & Year 2 (10th grade) candidates of the parish, regardless of where they attend high school. Large/small groups meet one/two Sunday evenings per month immediately following the 5:30 p.m. Youth Mass until 8 p.m. There is a retreat experience each year as well as a 25 hour service component. Fridays, Faith & Family is new for 2008-2009. This is a family catechetical experience for those with children that are entering PreK through 8th grade. All members of the family are invited to come together one Friday evening per month for nine months from 5 -7:30pm. We will begin with a light supper followed by large/small group faith sharing/formation, connecting scripture & doctrine. If you have a 2nd grader preparing for First Reconciliation & First Eucharist, you will need to attend additional family sessions. If you have a Confirmation candidate, he/she is welcome but not expected, to attend these sessions.
